The laboratory deals with different lines of research, which affect various stages of life and areas of study. The most studied topics concern the psychology of sport, the performance of athletes and the processes underlying it; doping and the use of substances to improve cognitive and sports performance; psycho-oncology, the application of virtual reality; tools for assessing the integration of migrants; skills in recognizing and critically evaluating media messages (media literacy); risky driving behaviors and the risk of road accidents.
Technological tools for the detection of physiological signals are available to the laboratory, such as biofeedback instruments and portable oculometers.
