Fabio Lucidi

Biografy

He is a PhD and a Full Professor in M/PSI-03 sector, since 2010, at the Department of Psychology of Development and Socialization Processes, Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, Sapienza – University of Rome. He is Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology at Sapienza University of Rome.

His research interests mainly regard psychometrics and the psychological aspects underlying risk and health promotion behaviors, with particular reference to lifestyles, motor activity and sport. He is the author of over 200 publications and his scientific production is mainly placed in international journals of high or very high impact for which he is included in the list of Top Italian Scientists. He is President of the Italian Society of Health Psychology, Past President of the Italian Association of Psychology and Adjunct Professor at Temple University, Philadelphia.

At Sapienza, he teaches in three-year and master’s degree courses and has been Coordinator of the Doctoral School in Psychology. At the University he served in the Quality Team in the Tutoring Commission and is currently president of the Technical Scientific Committee on diversity and inclusion issues

He is President of the commission for the ASN 2018-2020 for the competition sector of General Psychology, Psychobiology and Psychometrics and is coordinator of the Anvur study group for TECO-D disciplinary skills in Psychology. He carries out scientific dissemination activities for publishing groups at national and international level. He is a member of the “Education” board of the National Anti-Doping Organization and of the Working Table for the promotion of physical activity and health protection in sports activities of the Ministry of Health.
