Tommaso Palombi

Biografia

Tommaso is a PhD student of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology at the Department of Psychology of Development and Socialization Processes of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. His main scientific-disciplinary field is related to Psychometrics (M-PSI/03). His main interest refers to the study of visuo-spatial skills with a particular focus on visuo-spatial memory within virtual and non-virtual environments. In addition, his research deals with the evaluation and implementation of media literacy interventions aimed at reducing health risk behaviors, specifically concerning the use of doping substances. He is also participating in research projects concerning the perceptual-cognitive processes underlying sports performance that involve aiming tasks, through the use of cutting-edge technological tools, such as virtual reality and oculometry (eye-tracking).
