Biografia
Jessica Pistella, Ph.D., is a Researcher (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Developmental and Social Psychology, Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). She received a degree in Clinical and Health Psychology (2014) and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology (2018) from the Sapienza University of Rome and Psychotherapy Training as a family therapist at the “Scuola Romana di Terapia Familiare,” Rome, Italy. Prof. Pistella published more than 100 articles: 72 articles in the Scopus database. H-index (Scopus) = 23; H-Index (Google Scholar) = 25. She has published one book and eight book chapters. Her research areas of interest are: (1) gender prejudice and homophobia in sports-related contexts; (2) the coming-out and the development of a positive LGB identity in sexual minority people.
